I'm Nas. Husband, father, and a believer in the unscripted. Born in Bangladesh, ten years in Fiji where photography found me, Sydney-based since.

I lead a small in-house team — photo and video, together — for couples who want their wedding to look like theirs. Not the staged version of it.

A wedding shouldn't feel like a production.

It should simply be the day you actually got to experience.

Photography found me before weddings did.

As a kid in Bangladesh, my father handed me a Fujifilm film camera — the one I learned to see through. Years later in Fiji, I saved through uni to buy my first professional Nikon. That's the camera I shot my first wedding on.

I'd always loved country and portrait work — the quiet kind, the unposed kind. But when I shot that first wedding, something clicked. The first look. The father seeing the bride before the ceremony. The bidai — parents and siblings in tears as the bride leaves home. It wasn't beautiful in a curated way. It was real in a way no portrait session could match.

The films I grew up loving — the ones that stayed with me, like Premam — worked the same way. Slow, nostalgic, honest about love. That's the register I wanted my photos to live in.

Sydney-based since. My team and I have photographed over a hundred weddings across Australia. Western, cultural, multi-day, intimate — the wedding type changes, the approach doesn't.

We don't pose you. We just stay close enough.

We don't stop the moment. We just do it in a way that doesn't feel like posing. We move through your day quietly and bring back the parts you'll actually remember.

Photo and video, all in-house — no outsourced strangers on your day. A small, close-knit team that already knows the rhythm of a wedding day. Western or cultural. One day or three.

For me, every wedding photo is a piece of someone's life they'll hold for years. The mother adjusting her daughter's dupatta. The grandfather watching from the back row. The quiet second between two people who just got married. These are the moments I'm there for. Everything else is just decoration.

After my son was born, life became the fullest it's ever been.

Being his dad is the part of me I'm proudest of. It changed how I see the rooms I walk into — the mothers, the fathers, the small children of the families I photograph. I notice things I used to walk past.

Maybe that's why the wedding day quietly means more to me now than it used to.

A few honest answers.

Will you actually be the one shooting our wedding?

Yes. I'm at every wedding we book. For larger or multi-day celebrations, Adnan and Safat shoot alongside me — but I'm there. Always.

Do you direct couples, or just observe?

Both, quietly. We don't pose you. But we'll suggest where to stand for the light, or step back so you can have a moment alone. The goal is unposed photos that still look like you on a good day.

What's it actually like working with you on a wedding day?

Calm. We're not the team you'll notice. We're the team that brings back the parts of the day you forgot were happening.

How involved are you in the planning before the wedding?

As involved as you want. Every booking includes timeline planning — we'll build the photo and video schedule with you, and stay reachable in the lead-up.

What's the one thing you wish more couples knew before booking?

That the photos you'll love most aren't the ones you planned. They're the ones we caught when no one was looking. So pick a team that knows how to be there for those — not just the staged moments.
